Do you do custom orders?
I do not do custom orders, I believe it takes away from my creativity and the enjoyment of what I am doing. However, if you see something you like on the site, which is sold or not available, you may e-mail me and request something similar. If I have the proper materials, I may make it. You are not obligated to buy it just because I make it. In most cases, I try to make what people are asking for. But remember, as my motto states, "...never the twain shall look the same...", it is not possible for two hand made items to look exactly the same, nearly identical, but not exactly.
Can I use your fairy art for a tatoo?
No, all my artwork is copyright to me. Thank you for your interest.
How do you set your prices?
Price varies depending upon what the item is, what materials may be used, and what embelishments the item has.
Unfortunately, many people have the misconception that if you make something at home it should be cheaper because you can get materials at the big name stores really cheaply, and you are at home anyway.
I don't purchase the bulk of my supplies from the big name stores because I like to use high quality supplies in what I make and often these are not available at the big name stores. I try to purchase good to the best quality supplies at reasonable prices and then pass those savings on to you. I won't compromise on the types of materials I use, however, if there is an area where I feel I can substitute without affecting quality, then I will. As an example, you certainly can't make a beautiful flower girl's dress in satin for $25.00 when it might cost you $24.00 to purchase a yard/meter of fabric and you need a yard/meter and a half for that particular dress. Add in the thread, buttons, zipper, etc., etc., and you will see how the price rises.
In most cases, hand made items can be very costly when you consider the time the individual puts in to making and embelishing the item. In effect, if you calculated my costs and compared it to the selling price, you would see that I charge very little to sometimes nil for my time.
When I decided to pursue my artistic endeavours, it was with the idea in mind that I would try to offer products at as reasonable a cost as I could.

Do you offer lessons?
Not at the present time. I do, however, offer basic training to some of my web design clients to assist them in maintaining small portions of their web sites.
Why do you only offer basic web design training to your current clients?
It has been my experience, and most of my clients will agree, that the time required to work on web sites is quite substantial.
For clients who may only need a change once every few months, they usually forget how to do it and end up calling me anyway, so the money they invested to learn is often wasted.
Maintenance is easier performed when it is done on a regular basis and by someone who is familiar with the process.
It just would not be worthwhile for a client to learn everything about designing and creating web sites, otherwise, they would have chosen that as their career and not the business they are in.
Further, while purchasing programs to assist them in minor changes can be more costly than having me do it for them, most business people don't have enough time to devote to another task. When you run a business you can say "time is money", and often times business owners already work longer hours and more days than someone who doesn't own their own business.

Where does your inspiration come from?
Anywhere and everywhere. I may be inspired by a colour, by some thread, by a sound, by an image. Most artists will tell you to study the work of artists you like. Most writers will tell you to read lots of books in the genre you are interested in. I have many books in all the arts I like, I buy patterns to see how things are made, I look at magazines and search the Internet. I get a lot of my ideas when I am out walking and I keep a journal of my thoughts and quickly sketch thumbnails as reminders of what is in my head. Doodles often turn into wonderful creations. And I write down lines of verse that pop into my head.
